Japan Tour . 1991
The 4th and the last Japan tour.
Since 1977, several times Rory's Japan tour were announced, but these were called off. The
long-time Rory fans (they have been waiting for Rory for 14 years) gathered in the hall with
still wearing business suit after their work.
Rory's albums were released also in Japan but he wasn't appeared in Japanese music magazines so many
times after his 3rd Japan Tour (1977). Because they didn't know the recent Rory's figure, when Rory
appeared to the stage, they lost the
word. They wondered "Who he is?"
However when the show started, they didn't care anymore. Rory was Rory. His exciting play never changed.
After the show, several fans stayed at the hall. They could not leave there because of too much impression. Then Rory came to there and he shook hands with them one by one.
This Japan tour and followed Australian and the USA tour was the last world tour with long-time fellow Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O'Neill. The first place of his last world tour was here in Japan. After this world tour, he didn't go to Japan, Australia, the USA.
