Japan Tour . 1977

Rory's 3rd Japan tour. Rory came to Japan with same members as in 74 & 75, but because after he released two new albums ("Against The Garain", "Calling Card") , some feelings seem to have been different before this time. Promoter changed from Universal to UDO, they played in Horoshima besides Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya. They stayed in Japan for 15 days. They had tight schedule especially in the latter half.

After this tour, they recorded a new album in San Francisco. But Rory had thrown it away just before completion it. And he changed his band next year.

They rehearsed 3 new songs (at a studio in Osaka).

18:30 - LIVE at Osaka Festival Hall, Osaka
- While Rory played the guitar in a dressing room, the other members played with radio control cars that they bought in Japan.

1 Nov. - tue -

18:30 - LIVE at Osaka Kousei-nenkin Kaikan
- Because it was a hot day in out of season, Rory caught cold.

2 Nov. - wed -

back to Tokyo
The screening of Montreux live film at Yamano-Gakki (Ginza, Tokyo)

3 Nov. - thu -

14:00 - LIVE at Shinjuku Kousei-nenkin Kaikan (afternoon show)
- after the afternoon show, Rory was presented a guitar from Japanese guitar maker (Guyatone). Rory played that guitar at the hall without audience.
Afterwards he had fun of the radio control racing car with all the staff in the dressing room.
19:00 - LIVE at Shinjuku Kousei-nenkin Kaikan (evening show)

4 Nov. - fri -

12:00 - 16:00 , Rory was interviewed by 4 music magazines including "Ongaku-Senka".
18:30 - LIVE at Nakano Sunplaza Hall
After the concert, he joined in a party of Toshiba EMI with all the members and staff. (Rory took soft drink, not alcohol, for a reason to want to be "concentrated in a stage")
